Rushing to the defence of Priyanka Gandhi and Robert Vadra in the Lalit Modi row, senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh on Friday asked if it was a crime to meet the former IPL chief.

"Is it a crime if Priyanka Gandhi and Robert Vadra met Lalit Modi in London? Is Priyanka Gandhi holding any official position and did she recommend anybody? How is she in the wrong?" asked Digvijaya.

He also alleged that people who helped Lalit Modi on paper are now using Robert Vadra and Priyanka Gandhi as their defence.

Detailed story to follow.
