Jacob Latimore of 'The Chi' fame has joined the cast of romantic-comedy, 'The Last Summer'.
As reported by Hollywood Reporter, the role is followed by Latimore starring as Emmett Washington in 'The Chi', and appearing opposite Will Smith in 'Collateral Beauty' and William H. Macy in 'Krystal'.
The film also stars 'Riverdale' star K.J. Apa and is going to be directed by William Bindley of 'The Eighteenth Angel' fame.
The film revolves around a group of young people in Chicago, who come together during the summer before they head off to college.
The script is jointly written by Scott Bindley, William Bindley and April Prosser and is expected to release next year.
