Joan Rivers' daughter recently confirmed that her mother has been moved to a private hospital room from the ICU, in order to keep her more comfortable.
However, Melissa Rivers did not indicated if the change was the result of an improved medical condition six days after the 81-year-old actress suffered respiratory and cardiac arrest during a medical procedure, the CNN reported.
According to an explanation from the Cleveland Clinic, it was not clear if Rivers was still on life support because when patients have curable conditions, life support could still be used temporarily until the illness could be stabilized and the body can resume normal functioning.
