The creative force behind Pixar Animation and Walt Disney Animation, John Lasseter, is officially exiting his post as Chief Creative Officer of both animation studios at the end of this year.
Lasseter's departure follows his admission last year that he had committed unspecified "missteps" that left some employees feeling "disrespected or uncomfortable," confirmed The Hollywood Reporter.
One of the founders of Pixar, Lasseter has won two Oscars, one being for his work on Toy Story. Under his cognizance, WDA has picked up three wins, most recently with 2016's 'Zootopia'.
