Joshna Chinappa bows out of Qatar Classic Squash Open

Indian ace squash player Joshna Chinappa crashed out of the Qatar Classic tournament after going down against Omneya Abdel Kawy of Egypt in a pulsating quarterfinal thriller here on Wednesday.

Kawy brushed Chinappa aside 11-8, 9-11, 7-11, 12-10 and 11-6 to progress through to the semifinals of the ongoing tournament.

Earlier, Chinappa had raised eyebrows after defeating world number one Raneem El Welily in the opening round contest.
