Late Rik Mayall's children pay tribute to him on Facebook

Rik Mayall's children have paid tribute to the star in the wake of his sudden death.

Mayall's daughter Bonnie Mayall left a touching message for her "idol" on Facebook after he was found dead.

Other daughter Rosie Mayall and mother Barbara Robbin shared a string of snaps of the late comedian and said that they will never forget him and neither will the world. "R.I.P to the man, the myth, the legend", the Daily Star reported.

Bonnie said that her dad was loved not only by her family, but by many others.

Mayall's pal Peter Richardson asserted that they did not know quite what happened, but it was a seizure of some sort and it was very quick.
