Legendary cartoonist R K Laxman passes away

Eminent cartoonist R K Laxman passed away in a Pune hospital on Monday.

The 94-year-old was on a mechanical ventilator last week with his health taking a turn for the worse on Sunday, according to reports.

Through his iconic character of "The Common Man", Laxman held a mirror to the society by creating satire targeting politicians for many decades.
