Mandi flash floods: Parents desolate for getting no info about missing children

Parents are desolate over not getting any information on their missing children, who were washed away in a flash flood in Mandi.

The flash floods washed away 24 students and a tour operator.

Shekhar, a parent of one of the missing students identified as Rambabu, said that the VMR College was not giving them any information about their missing children.

Human Resource and Development Minister Smriti Irani has already left for Mandi.

The flash flood on River Beas has been attributed to water release from Laarji Hydropower project.
