Mangal Pandey appointed BJP in-charge for Himachal Pradesh
Mangal Pandey has been appointed Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in-charge for Himachal Pradesh.
Pandey replaced Shrikant Sharma, who was appointed as the power minister in Yogi Adityanath-led Uttar Pradesh cabinet.
Pandey is also the president of Bihar BJP unit. A member of Bihar Legislative Council, he has been serving as president of state unit of the party since 2013.
The Assembly elections are scheduled to be held in Himachal Pradesh later this year.
