Manipur boy remains untraceable for the 4th day

A Manipuri youth who was in the capital to attend the recently held musical concert of popular band The Chainsmokers organised by Ultra Music in remains untraceable for the fourth day.

Prabin Chanam arrived in the capital in the midnight of September 7 and halted the night at his friend's place, said his elder brother Ravikanta Chanam who had filed a missing report at Knowledge Park PS at under Gautam Bud Nagar district of the next day on September 9.

Meanwhile, a high ranking police officer based in district said video footages showed a person being escorted by an unidentified woman and that the person seemed to be that of Prabin but is not sure.

The police officer also said that based on the account of the complaint Ravikanta "whom she today", the untraceable youth was last seen by his friends around 9.30 pm.

Additionally, a complaint has also been registered at North East Cell based in on September 11 last.

However Nodal Officer of the North East Cell in said the site where the incident happened was not within their jurisdiction.

Unofficial sources informed that Prabin might be a victim of gangs associated with body organ racquets.
