Militant returning from Pakistan arrested in Poonch

A militant returning from Pakistan along with his wife and children was arrested in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch District on Wednesday.

The militant has been identified as Mukhtiyar Ahmad and had been living in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK) since 2001 and was trained by a militant outfit there. After spending 11 years in Pakistan Ahmad was arrested along with his wife and children while trying to enter India via Nepal.

This was confirmed by said Senior Superintendent of Police, Shamsher Hussian.
