Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi today inaugurated the first-ever Yoga University in Ahmedabad
The Lakulish Yoga University is claiming to be the first ever such private sector self-financed institution, has a special provision for degree course in Yoga.
The yoga course will be of three years duration, and will include six semesters. People below the age of 35 years are eligible for admission.
During the three years, degree course students will be taught subjects of Ashtang Yoga, Karma, Knowledge, Bhakti Yoga, philosophy, psychology, anatomy, ayurveda and naturopathy.
