More than 25 pc drivers blame flip flops for car crashes

27 percent of drivers have confessed that driving in flip flops caused them to crash their vehicles, a new survey has revealed.
According to the study, 33 percent people wear this footwear, which appears to be more dangerous than driving in high heels, as it appears to cause almost 1.4 million road accidents or near misses every year, the Mirror reported.
11 percent of those surveyed said that their shoe got stuck under pedals.
