World No. 1 Rafael Nadal has made it to the quarterfinals of the French Open after defeating Dusan Lajovic 6-1, 6-2, 6-1 to continue his quest for a record fifth consecutive title.
Nadal will now face David Ferrer, who beat Kevin Anderson 6-3, 6-3, 6-7 (5-7), 6-1, on Wednesday after beating the Serb only in 93 minutes, the BBC reported.
Nadal said that he is happy with the way he played, adding that he was able to control the points from the baseline, which is important for him.
