Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Monday assured that the Nalanda incident, where a school director was beaten to death, will be thoroughly investigated from all angles.
"The matter is being thoroughly investigated. We have sent the DIG of Patna Range. It is a very strange and sad incident. This will be investigated from all angles," he said.
The victim, Devendra Prasad, director of Devendra Public School, succumbed during treatment at the Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH).
He was thrashed by a mob following the recovery of the bodies of two students from a ditch in the state's Nalanda district.
