Narayan Rane to quit Maharashtra Cabinet

Maharashtra Industries Minister Narayan Rane on Thursday said that he will be quitting from the post but will remain a part of the Congress Party.

Responding to media queries on whether he would be campaigning for the Congress in the coming assembly elections, Rane said,"I will announce my future political plans on Monday."

However, he downplayed the rumors of him joining any other political party.
