The Bahujan Samajwadi Party (BSP) on Thursday termed the NDA Government's 'Save Democracy' march as a 'drama', saying it was their responsibility to run parliament .
"The Members of NDA are now doing a drama by this protest, it is NDA's responsibility to run the parliament, since they are in power," said BSP Supremo Mayawati.
Mayawati slammed the NDA Government for not addressing the issues of opposition in the house resulting into a total wash-out of the Monsoon Session.
"It was government's responsibility to address the opposition and the parliament would have run," told Mayawati to the reporters.
"They should introspect themselves as why the parliament couldn't function, why the opposition is unitedly acting against them," she added.
An unproductive monsoon session of Parliament will end this afternoon with major legislation including the Goods and Services Tax (GST) proposal still pending for approval. Lawmakers of the ruling BJP and its allies will take out a "Save Democracy" march against opposition protests, that led to a wasted session.
