Nintendo has shocked viewers by releasing its 'Just Dance 2014' game advert, featuring a hit track by Nicki Minaj, which reportedly includes the N-word.

The advert for the Wii game features Minaj's 'Starships' lyrics for its publicity campaign, including lines "My name is Onika, you can call me Nicki" sung quickly, followed by "n****r", the Daily Star has revealed.

A censored version of the advert, which has managed to cut out the 30-year-old rapper saying the racially-offensive line as well as "bitches" and "motherf****r", has been used by music channels, commercial radio and on compilation CDs.

The game also includes tracks by One Direction and Lady Gaga, and is aimed at the teen market.
