No money to be granted until flood, fire affected provided relief: Lankan PM

Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe has instructed treasury officials not to grant any money to purchase vehicles for ministers until the reconstruction of houses and state buildings damaged by the floods and the fire at the Salawa Army camp are completed.
He stressed that purchase of vehicles for ministers will not take place until the necessary facilities are provided to the people affected due to flood and fire at Kosgama Army camp, reports the Colombo Page.
Wickremesinghe also pointed out that the funds should be allocated to renovate the damaged houses and business establishments in the region.
