The technology, which is called Lechal, gives a buzz in either foot to indicate a change in direction, the Daily Star reported.

Lechal costs 100 pounds either fitted in trainers or as insoles that can be slotted into normal shoes.

Krispian Lawrence, who developed the idea with partner Anirudh Sharma, said that the technology is as easy to use as a tap on the shoulder and if the user tap on the foot, they can turn in a direction.
