A ritual oath-taking ceremony for new pharmacists in central Philippines was recently called off after an official saw some female participants in "revealing" outfits.

The ceremonies were to take place at the University of San Agustin in Iloilo City, Philippines, Gulf News reported.

According to the Daily Guardian, Lily Ann Baldago, regional director of the Professional Regulation Commission said that she doesn't regret her actions as some female students refused to follow the prescribed dress code.

Baldago further added that male participants were wearing proper attire but ten female participants were dressed in skirts five to six inches above the knee.
