One Maoist arrested in Odisha's Malkangiri District

Border Security Force (BSF) and Malkangiri District Police have confirmed the arrest of a Maoist cadre going by the name of Singa Kattami.

"Singa Kattami pseudonym Mahesh (25), who is a resident of Tagoorkota village under Motu police station limits, was arrested from Sudhakonda area," informed Mitrabhanu Mohapatra, Superintendent of Police of Malkangiri.

The Government of Odisha had earlier announced a reward of Rs. 1,00,000 for anyone providing information on the whereabouts of Kattami.
