One Militant killed in Uri sector encounter

An unidentified militant was killed in an encounter with security forces near the Line of Control in Uri sector of Baramulla district on Wednesday.

According to DIG Garib Das, the operation is still on and so far, one unidentified militant has been killed in the operation.

"Operation is going on. Unofficially it is confirmed that one militant was killed, i think two to three militants were present," Das told ANI.
