Cricket Australia (CA) has reportedly admitted that they might have erred in dropping Australian opener Simon Katich from the Test side.
CA chairman Wally Edwards made the candid admission after Thursday's annual general meeting in Melbourne.
According to The Age, Edwards said that the Australian selectors should not have dropped Katich prematurely from the Test side, a decision which continues to cause great angst in Australian cricket.
Stating that there were a lot of decisions made that should not have been made in the first place, Edwards however, said that the decision was made in an attempt to move from a very strong side to a new side.
