Pakistani minister of Water and Power Khawaja Muhammad Asif has dispelled remarks that large areas of Pakistan came under floodwater due to India's 'water terrorism'.
He said that heavy rains had occurred in Kashmir in India and Pakistan at the same time and flood response time had only been three to four hours, reported Dawn.
Asif had also rejected the notion that electricity and power prices had been increased by the government of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
The minister said that the work on Kalabagh dam would not be started without the consensus of the provinces as per the policy of the government.
