Pak violates ceasefire in Akhnoor, Sunderbani sectors along LoC

Pakistan fired mortar shells and small arms in the Akhnoor and Sunderbani sectors along the Line of Control late on Monday night, drawing a retaliation from the Indian Army.

The ceasefire violation by Pakistan in the Akhnoor sector started at 22:45 hours yesterday and continued till early this morning, an Army official said.

The firing by Pakistan was retaliated by the Indian Army, he said.
