PDP defeats NC in Chrar-e-Sharief

People's Democratic Party (PDP) candidate Ghulam Nabi Lone on Tuesday defeated Abdul Rahim Rather of the National Conference (NC) in the Chrar-e-Sharief constituency.

Meanwhile, Congress candidate Vikar Rasool Wani won from the Banihal constituency.

According to the latest election trends in Jammu and Kashmir, the PDP is leading in 29 seats, the BJP in 25, the Congress in 11, and Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) is ahead in 16 seats.
