Plane crash kills two in Melbourne

A light plane carrying two persons crashed Saturday in northern Melbourne, Australia.
Local press reports said that the plane crashed into a paddock in Lancefield and exploded at around 11.30 a.m. Melbourne time.
Police said the two male passengers of the plane died on the spot and added that their identities are yet to be confirmed.
The light plane took off from Sunbury Airport around 10.30 a.m. local time. Australia's Air Traffic Safety Bureau and related authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
