Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday called upon President Pranab Mukherjee at the Army's Research and Referral Hospital in the national capital after the latter underwent a successful angioplasty operation.
Upon his visit, Prime Minister Modi inquired after the President's health.
On Saturday, President Mukherjee had been admitted to hospital after he reportedly complained of stomach problems and related ailments.
According to reports, the doctors detected a blockage in one of the arteries, following which he had undergone a heart procedure and installed a coronary stent in President Mukherjee's artery to remove a blockage.
