PM Modi condoles demise of BJD MP Hemendra Chandra Singh

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed sadness over the passing away of Lok Sabha Member of Parliament Hemendra Chandra Singh and extended condolences to the family of the deceased.

Singh, the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) MP from Kandhamal Lok Sabha seat, passed away in Bhubaneswar early on Friday.

Singh had left the Congress and joined BJD in February this year. He is survived by his wife, a son and daughter.
