PM Modi exchanges New Year greetings with PMO, SPG officials

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday met and exchanged New Year greetings with officials from the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) and the Special Protection Group (SPG) personnel at Lok Kalyan Marg, here.

Over 1,000 people were present at the interaction.

The prime minister also appreciated the good work being done by the SPG and encouraged them to keep up their efforts in future as well.

Prime Minister Modi had, on Sunday, urged the nation to kick start the New Year with a positive spirit.

Addressing the nation in his 39th edition of monthly radio-address 'Mann Ki Baat', he said, "Let us enter 2018 with a spirit of positivity. During Mann Ki Baatlast month, I had spoken about 'Positive India'. I am happy that so many people shared their 'Positive India' moments through social media."

 

He added the nation should commence the journey from a 'Positive India' towards a 'Progressive India'.
