PM Modi, Jaitley can congratulate each other for shrinking Indian economy: Congress

Congress leader Manish Tewari on Tuesday launched a frontal attack on the NDA Government for the recent economic slowdown, saying Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Finance Minister Arun Jaitley can congratulate each other for the shrinking of the Indian economy.

"The most spectacular achievement of the Narendra Modi Government in the economic arena can be summed up in three alphabets-P, I, G. Policy, Institutional and Government Paralysis. The economic figures substantiate this averment," Tewari told ANI.

"So, possibly, Prime Minister Modi and Finance Minister Arun Jaitley have the unique distinction of actually congratulating each other 'Hey honey, I actually shrunk the Indian economy," he added.
