External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj told a television channel on Saturday that the latter could present its evidence of 1993 Mumbai blasts mastermind Dawood Ibrahim living in Karachi to the Government of India, and if New Delhi found the evidence to be true, it could take it up with the concerned authorities in Pakistan.

"No nation or its government would ever accept evidence provided by a news channel. We talk on the basis of proof that we have.....Whatever evidence you have, you present it to the Government of India, and if the Government of India considers it worthy for presentation, it would do the same," Swaraj said.

The news channel has claimed that it has tracked Dawood Ibrahim's wife to an address in Karachi's Clifton area on the basis of four tapes that include at least two brief telephone conversations.
