President Pranab Mukherjee today greeted the nation on the occasion of Janmashtami which is to be celebrated tomorrow.
In his message, he said, "On the joyous occasion of Janmashtami, I convey greetings and good wishes to all my fellow countrymen."
"On this auspicious festival celebrating the birth of Lord Krishna, let us strive to build a world free from malice and full of brotherhood and compassion. May Lord Krishna's noble message of righteous conduct and action inspire each and every one of us to strengthen the moral foundations of our society and strive selflessly to take our country to new heights," he added.
