A property dealer was shot dead, while another sustained injuries, after some assailants fired upon them in Brahampuri area of Usmanpur in Delhi on Sunday around 10 p.m.
The deceased has been identified as Wajid, 30. The injured, identified as Chand, is undergoing treatment at nearby hospital.
Police said prima facie it appears to be a matter of personal enmity.
"We are investigating the matter by checking the CCTV footages of the area. According to the preliminary investigation, personal enmity can be the reason behind the matter as both the person- one who has been shot dead and the other who is injured- are property dealers," DCP North AK Singla said.
