Rahul Gandhi to visit Amethi today

Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi will pay a day-long visit to his parliamentary constituency Amethi today.

Gandhi is scheduled to pay a condolence visit to Uttar Pradesh Congress leader Jang Bahadur Singh's house. Singh son was shot dead by unidentified men in Amethi in June.

He will meet party workers and locals.

Gandhi will also attend Roza Iftaar in the evening before returning for Delhi.

This will be the Rahul's second visit after he fought his toughest electoral battle in Amethi, winning with a 1.07 lakh vote margin over BJP's Smriti Irani.
