Ram Temple a political 'jumla': Upendra Kushwaha

(RLSP) president and Union on Thursday lashed out at the Nitish Kumar-led government and the Centre and called the ongoing issue of a political 'jumla'.

"Since elections are now just months away, they have started talking about the construction of It's not the job of a political party to make a temple or Masjid. is a political 'jumla'. We are opposing this move of the Centre. They should stop doing in the name of Ram Temple," Kushwaha said here.

Criticising the government, Kushwaha said, "We will remove the Nitish Kumar-led state government soon. The BJP people in are real 'jumla'"

The Babri Masjid, built by Mughal in 1578 in Ayodhya, was on December 6, 1992, pulled down allegedly by a group of Hindu activists, claiming that the mosque was constructed after demolishing a Ram Temple. Since then several hearings have been held in the top court to resolve the issue.

The in October adjourned the Ram Janmabhoomi-title suit till January 2019 to fix the date of hearing in the matter.
