The returning officer for the election process in the Amethi Lok Sabha constituency in Uttar Pradesh has reportedly directed Priyanka Gandhi Vadra's personnel assistant, Priti Sahay, to leave Amethi.
The order reportedly came though after BJP candidate Smriti Irani had a confrontation with Sahay at Thouri, and according to the Times Now channel, highlighted her presence in through her tweets, and also the fact that Sahay was being very vocal in opposing her (Irani's) presence at the booth.
Irani was quoted by the channel as saying in her tweet that Sahay had also objected to her photograph being taken by the media in the area.
