Simao Sabrosa scored a spot-kick to help NorthEast United register their third win of the Indian Super League (ISL) by defeating Atlentico de Kolkata 1-0 here at Salt Lake Stadium on Saturday.
Sabrosa's goal in the ninth minute of the match was enough to claim victory over the hosts.
With the win, NorthEast United have also won all the three away points.
NorthEast, who are currently at the sixth spot, will now lock horns with Kerala Blasters at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Guwahati on November 15.
