SAD leader Sucha Singh Langah convicted in disproportionate assets case

A Mohali court on Wednesday sentenced former Punjab agriculture minister and Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader Sucha Singh Langah to three years imprisonment in a disproportionate assets case.
According to reports, Langah was also fined Rs one crore in the 13-year-old case, which had been filed by the state vigilance bureau.
Apart from Langah, his accomplice Amrik Singh Mohali was also sentenced to three years in prison. Eight others were acquitted for the same.
