Security beefed up along India-Nepal border for festivals

Security has been tightened along the Nepal-India border in view of upcoming Dashain, Tihar and Chhath festivals.
The security tightening aims to control any criminal and untoward activities that in general increase during festivals, said Superintendent of Police Rewati Dhakal.
Various police teams have been mobilised in the border areas in Parsa like Inarwa Sirsiya, Aalau, Janaki Tole and Bhiswal, and the areas where there is a large movement of the people like banks, bus stops and religious sites, said Dhakal.
