The Sensex ended up 17.47 points at 26145.67 and the Nifty slipped 7.45 points at 7935.25.
Bajaj Auto, Infosys, Tata Motors and ICICI Bank were top gainers while Bharti Airtel, NTPC, Vedanta, Coal India and Sun Pharma were losers in the Sensex.
