Soldier killed in ceasefire violation by Pakistan in J-K

Rifleman Jayadrath Singh was killed in ceasefire violation by Pakistan in Sunderbani sector of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday evening.

The Pakistan Army initiated unprovoked firing on Indian Army posts in Sunderbani sector at around 6:00 p.m.

The Indian Army retaliated strongly and effectively.

In the fire exchange, Rifleman Singh got grievously injured and succumbed to his injuries.

Singh (28), was a resident of Saharanpur district of Uttar Pradesh and is survived by his wife Mamta Devi.
