Spacewalking astronauts, Rick Mastracchio and Steven Swanson, replaced a dead computer outside the International Space Station well within an hour on Wednesday.
The astronauts replaced the computer, a critical backup, which faltered about two weeks back. The prime computer is working perfectly, but NASA had intended to install a fresh spare as soon as possible, Fox News reported.
To achieve the spacewalk, Mission Control waited for the arrival of a capsule with fresh supplies on Sunday.
The replacement of the compact 50-pound box needed just three bolts.
