'Star Trek's Lt. Uhura hospitalised after mild stroke

Nichelle Nichols, who played Lieutenant Uhura in 'Star Trek' series, has been hospitalised after suffering from a mild stroke.

A source informed that the 82-year-old American actress is out of danger, but the doctors were conducting tests to determine the severity of the stroke, TMZ.com reported.

Nichols was taken to an L.A. hospital by ambulance from her home.
