Sudhanshu Mittal quits as Delhi BJP's election cell convenor

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) election cell convenor of Delhi, Sudhanshu Mittal, on Tuesday resigned from his post.

However, no reasons were given by Mittal for the sudden decision

Mittal is said to be close to state unit chief Vijay Goel and was enthrusted with key works ahead of assembly elections in Delhi.

Reports of internal strife within the Delhi BJP have doing rounds.

Mittal's resignation comes a month after Aamir Raza Hussain, who was said to be the Muslim face for the BJP, quit the party.
