Super Bowl sets TV ratings record as 112m Americans tune in

An estimated 111.5 million viewers watched Super Bowl, making it the most-watched television broadcast in history.
However, it was such a boring game that an estimated 200 million Americans did not watch it.
According to the Guardian, the Super Bowl routinely sets new records for attracting the largest television audience.
The top five most-watched broadcasts in history are the past five Super Bowls.
