Another suspicious package addressed to the CNN headquarters in Atlanta was intercepted on Monday.
"The package was intercepted at an Atlanta post office. There is no imminent danger to the CNN Center," CNN President Jeff Zucker said in a statement.
According to reports, the Atlanta Police Department responded to a call at 9:38 am (local time) about the suspicious package at a post office near the CNN Center. The package intercepted looked similar in appearance to the pipe bombs that were sent to high-profile politicians including former president Barack Obama, former First Lady of the United States Hilary Clinton, and to the CNN's New York bureau.
A pipe-bomb suspect Cesar Sayoc was arrested by the cops on Friday and is due in court on Monday, CNN reported.
A total of 11 suspicious packages have been retrieved in the past week.
