A tourist from Maharashtra on Wednesday afternoon died due to swine flu.
Dr. Ramesh Chand, Medical Superintendent of the Indira Gandhi Medical College (IGMC) informed that "a tourist from Maharashtra Avinash Patil died after he was admitted last midnight just after his arrival in Shimla. He died today afternoon".
The IGMC has handed over the body to the relatives and friends of the deceased.
