There is 'scarier' Death Star in 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens'

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Director JJ Abrams confirmed that it was a Death Star-type weapon base. Abrams said it was the Starkiller Base and it's the command centre for what's left over of the Imperial regime, News.com.au reports.

The 49-year-old said that it was not just another Death Star, adding that it was a much, much scarier Death Star.

'Star Wars: The Force Awakens,' also the most anticipated movie this year, is set to hit the screens on Dec. 17.
